1. Basic Post-Processing (Standard with all prints):
Washing: The print is meticulously cleaned in an automated, multi-stage wash station to remove all uncured resin.
Curing: The model is post-cured in a specialized 360° UV station to ensure maximum strength, durability, and surface hardness.
Support Removal: All printing supports are carefully and professionally removed.
2. Assembly:
Models of this size (8-10 inches) are almost always printed in several smaller, optimized parts to maximize detail and prevent print failures.
Our assembly service includes sanding contact points, expertly joining all parts, and using specialized fillers to create a perfectly seamless, single-piece statue.
3. Priming:
This is the most critical step for a professional paint job.
The fully assembled model is lightly sanded and then coated with multiple, ultra-thin layers of high-quality primer.
This process reveals any final imperfections (which are then corrected) and provides a perfect, uniform surface for the paint to adhere to.
4. Professional Painting:
This is our premium, artist-led service. We offer various painting tiers, from "tabletop" to "display/competition" quality.
A typical display-quality paint job includes airbrushed base coats, smooth gradients, intricate brushwork for fine details (like eyes and emblems), and advanced techniques such as weathering, object-source-lighting (OSL), and non-metallic-metal (NMM)
It is important to note that pricing can be highly variable and depends on three main factors:
Model Complexity: A simple, smooth statue is far less expensive than a complex monster with hundreds of spikes, scales, and intricate armor.
Resin Volume: A model that is hollow will use less resin but may require more labor to assemble than a solid one.
Painting Time: This is the largest cost factor. A simple 3-color paint job takes a fraction of the time of a photorealistic character, which can require 20+ hours of artist labor.
